> Flac 1.2.0 has been released. I don't know the stabilization path but maybe
> it's worth and possible to stabilize 1.2.0 with 1.1.4?

No, 1.2.0 has a text relocation regression with asm (x86 + nasm). It's also package.masked for now, either the asm needs to be fixed or disabled (it works fine with 'emerge -C nasm && emerge --nodeps =media-libs/flac-1.2.0') and isn't really much slower..

1.1.4 is fine.

media-libs/flac-1.1.4 is ready to be stabilized AFTER you have done depending on this bug first.</thetext>

            <thetext>On stable x86:

- Test suite disabled by ebuild.

- I can convert wavs to flacs without problems. They play.

<thetext>I'm getting this when encoding on sparc:

An error occurred while writing; the most common cause is that the disk is full.

It still creates a working flac file though.

Decoding files was fine.
