<thetext>With the gnome 2.18 stabilization, the new gtk-engines e-build's engine xml descriptor files contain syntax that the gtk+ version in emul-linux-x86-gtklibs-10.0-r1 doesn't like. This results in the inability to customize the gtk theme in 32-bit gtk+ applications like firefox-bin.
I re-built my own emul-linux-x86-gtklibs by building all the packages listed in the ebuild using the instructions at:
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/emul/

Any chance the emul-linux packages can be updated in portage sometime?

Thanks.</thetext>

<thetext>With gnome 2.18 going stable, we definitely need to update the 32bit gtk, anyone who has the build env ready can do this?</thetext>
