<thetext>prefix package.mask:

# Fabian Groffen <grobian@gentoo.org> (21 Jan 2007)
# dies with "exhausted memory" errors on Darwin, doesn't understand
# arguments on Solaris. Probably more problems... Feels too risky
# to have it under Linux even though it appears to behave there.
=dev-util/cvs-1.12*

besides that, ppc-macos is in prefix, so for all you linux people it's probably fine.</thetext>

<thetext>dev-util/cvs-1.12.12-r4 emerges and works fine on amd64, tested with checkout of anoncvs.gentoo.org amongst others.

<thetext>After upgrading to cvs-1.12.12-r4, clients are no long able to commit.

They receive the following error message:

Rolling back to cvs-1.12.12-r2 appears to fix the problem. What gives?</thetext>
