            <thetext>On a fresh Asterisk-1.2.14-r2 install directories inside:
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds have a wrong permission including &quot;digits&quot; directory hence the problem. They are &quot;640&quot; and they should have permission &quot;750&quot;

The effect is when user enter the mailbox to listen to the recored message and press &quot;1&quot; and when the message starts playing all it plays is:
&quot;First messge received&quot; and silence.

            <thetext>asterisk-1.2.17 in cvs in ~arch, it&apos;ll take a couple of hours for the files to
get to the mirrors though. should fix your issues, otherwise feel free to reopen this bug.
it should go stable soonish.
