<thetext>There is a huge memory leak in rpc.mountd with nfs-utils-1.0.12. The relevant bug is described in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=413661 and it turned out it is really a leak in libblkid.so.1 of e2fsprogs package which is used now by nfs-utils-1.0.12.
After a day, the rpc.mountd mem usage grows to serveral GBytes (on heavy nfs servers).

nfs-utils-1.0.12 should be hard masked until the appropriate patch is applied to e2fsprogs.</thetext>
