<thetext>I recently installed mono 1.2.2.1. However xsp 1.1.37 insisted on installing mono 1.1.13.8.1. Emerge proceeded to unmerge mono 1.2.2.1 and installed mono 1.1.13.8.1. Subsequent emerges merged mono 1.2.2.1, unmerge mono 1.1.13.8.1 and vice verse... Arghh!!</thetext>

<thetext>On several occasions, I've asked Weeve to test the sparc port, and he's had 0 success with getting it actually working. We know that the ubuntu folks (i think it was them) got davem to do the initial work, but none of us seem to be able to actually get it jiving on gentoo. If you have a sparc machine and want to try getting mono working there for us, we would all be very appreciative.</thetext>
