I googled and found a patch in freebsd's bug system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install polipo, and mythweb 2. point seamonkey, firefox, whatever at it (localhost:8123) 3. point polipo at mythweb and pull a file. Actual Results: 502 error page! Expected Results: 500MB-1GB download. Luckily I'm pulling it over 802.11G, so it doesn't take hours. I do not know what "Damn anakata" means in the patch.. I found it originally at (apologies for the long URL...) http://cvsup.pt.freebsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/cvsweb.cgi/ports/www/polipo/files/ patches-aa had the goods and some config file location changes to make polipo follow FreeBSD conventions. Line #'s were also wrong, so I patched the relevant lines in manually and made a new patch from it.
