To change getjars call to slot 1, you would need a revbump (changes package.env) and restrict DEPEND on =7.3*. To continue using slot 0, restrict depend to >=7.4 but then you would need to get on of them stable. IMHO it's not worth, 0.5-r2 is already using jdbc-postresql instead of jdbc3-postresql so you would kill two birds with one stone by stabling that instead. But for that you would need to stable some jdbc-postresql version first. It's currently 20 days old (10 days premature).
