To have the overlay available, you need to add 'PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" to your make.conf. Create the dir: 'mkdir -p /usr/local/portage/app-office/planner'. Copy the ebuild 'cp /usr/portage/app-office/planner/planner-0.14.ebuild /usr/local/portage/app-office/planner/planner-0.14.2.ebuild'. Then you need to create the Manifest files: 'ebuild /usr/local/portage/app-office/planner/planner-0.14.2.ebuild digest'. To have the ebuild found, issue 'emerge --metadata'. Now, you should be able to emerge the new package.
