            <thetext>Just to let you know:
There is again a new gEDA snapshot available at
http://geda.seul.org/devel/20061020/gaf-20061020-relnotes.html
http://www.geda.seul.org/devel/20061020/

libgeda and gschem no longer use libgdgeda (which was a gEDA specific hack to the libgd library) Many more bug fixes and code cleanups.

Thanks for holding gEDA and Gentoo up to date!

Does this mean there will be no updates of gEDA (and pcb) in near future?
PLease let us know -- there is currently much development efford in gEDA Group and gEDA-users are advised to preferable use the latest official shnapshots of gEDA and pcb. (Outstanding gEDA version bump is not tivial, because libgdgeda is now obsolete)

Best regards
