<thetext>blanks and burns ok, but there is a new error message that I don't remember from old cdrecord (was running as root btw):

Error: Cannot gain SYS_RAWIO capability, is wodim installed SUID root? Reason: Operation not permitted

Since it does do the job, marking cdrkit ~ppc -- but I'm still curious what that message is about</thetext>

No clue... We don't install cd-writer applications suid-root by default.</thetext>

Also, needs >=dev-util/cmake-2.4 keyworded stable so it can't be stabilized before that's done.
