            <thetext>I have multiple systems, and they all fail to install openntpd, they are all currently running sys-apps/portage-2.1.1_pre4-r4.</thetext>

            <thetext>i just synced my tree and now openntpd failed as reported...
so it&apos;s probably one of the recent eutils eclass changes. 

i added a fix to the 3.7 and 3.9 versions of the ebuild - please test
(the fix should appear in the tree within the next half hour)
