            <thetext>1. ebuild needs slang-2.0.6-slsh-libs.patch, but it&apos;s not in portage tree yet, just in #95247 bug.
2. emake in src_install needs -j1, or else it breaks.
3. there&apos;s a small patch in slang mailing list archive, that could be included -
that one about Is_Fg_BGR issue.</thetext>

bug reporter, can you include a link to the patch you mentioned? although i already know that there are a number of possible patches from the debian package we might want to pull regarding utf-8 and widechar support, but that can be left till later.</thetext>
