<thetext>the current ghostscript ebuild looks for "X" or "gnome" in the USE-flags for
compiling it with X-support, but this might lead into problems, like it did for me:
Assuming you simply use your favorite desktop environment GNOME or KDE, and you
want to install ggv or kghostview, that will install ghostscript of course.
But I only have "gtk2" in my USE-flags, that should be fine for all apps, so I
suggest enabling X in ghostscript not only for X, but also for gtk2 and qt, as
it might be hard to find out why ggv or kgv don't display PostScript-Files at
all without any error message.</thetext>

<thetext>gnome is not used in current ghost-script. I think we can and should assume that people with gtk(2)/qt in their useflag also have X in their useflag (they should really). So i don't see a reason to change anything here.</thetext>
