No change is needed from the 3.5.2 ebuild. All you have to do is: $ cp simh-3.5.2.ebuild simh-3.6.1.ebuild $ wget http://simh.trailing-edge.com/sources/simhv36-1.zip (then commit simhv36-1.zip to Gentoo mirrors) $ ebuild simh-3.6.1.ebuild digest Could someone commit this to Portage if they agree? SIMH 3.6 and later adds significant support for the VAX 11/780 system, which is necessary for booting early versions of VAX/VMS (amongst other things).
