It shouldn't be up to the arch teams/releng to fix problems with other people's packages, as everyone has the right to make changes necessary for their packages to work. The only thing that anyone asks is that you're aware of what the changes will impact, and if you have a question, you ask -dev. Removing everyone without a 2.4 profile.
