<thetext>I have capi4k-utils installed and just noticed that the manpage for capiplugin, /usr/share/man/man8/capiplugin.8.gz, has mode 0600. There is no reason for this, and it causes error messages when searching man pages.</thetext>

<thetext>ups. must be an error of "make install". I have a look at it. thanks for reporting.</thetext>

<thetext>ok, found the error. I will fix this minor issue with a straight-forward 'chmod' after 'make install'.

The problem is within pppdcapiplugin/Makefile which uses $(INSTALLDATA) for both, installing /etc/ppp/peers/* and the man-page. First should be installed with mode 0600, but not the latter. Fixing the Makfile would be not as easy as 'chmod', since I have to introduce a patch then.

<thetext>ok, fixed for capi4k-utils-20050718-r1. But no new revision.
