Thanks so far. t. genstef@gentoo.org 2006-06-04 10:00:40 0000 ok, I had a closer a look at the foomatic mess, and I bumped all the versions today, I also split up foomatic-db: foomatic-db: Printer information files for foomatic-db-engine to generate ppds foomatic-db-ppds: linuxprinting.org PPD files for postscript printers foomatic-filters-ppds: linuxprinting.org PPD files for non-postscript printers So you should only need one of the 3 now and also you can unmerge foomatic-filters, foomatic-db-engine or both, depending on which you select form the obove. Also do you think foomaticdb should be a default use? I think it should not be, because no one needs foomatic db xml files for printing. So, what do you think?
