            <thetext>The ebuild for heimdal-0.7.2, when on amd64, converts all occurrences of &apos;lib&apos; in krb5.conf to &apos;lib64&apos;. The offending line of the ebuild is the following:

   sed -i &quot;s:lib:$(get_libdir):&quot; ${D}/etc/krb5.conf

This results to a broken /etc/krb5.conf, which contains stuff like the following:

   [password_quality]
        check_lib64rary = /usr/lib/sample_passwd_check.so
        check_function = check_cracklib64

etc...
