            <thetext>Okay as upstream released 0.8.4 with no bugfixes and 0.8.3 seems stable enough, with also the -Os -&gt; -O2 problem fixed.

Of course as it&apos;s not yet time to stable it (miss 12 days to a month) it can&apos;t go stable just now, but I&apos;d like if arch teams would start testing it out and see if they find problems before going stable.

The current stable is 0.3.x series so there are a few changes.

While libtorrent shouldn&apos;t be a problem being different version, I&apos;d rather see rtorrent stabled with the version of libtorrent it was released with, in this case 0.8.3.

            <thetext>rtorrent 0.4.3 will require either 0.8.3 or 0.8.4 of libtorrent..as you are the maintainer of it. What do you say about its ability to go stable..and which version?</thetext>
