            <thetext>As the summary says, skim is using CFLAGS but it builds only C++ code (as it&apos;s KDE stuff anyway), the problem is that people might have C++ specific flags in CXXFLAGS or might be using something like -Wno-pointer-sign in CFLAGS (as I am O:) ), throwing lots of unneeded warnings when misusing the two.
Unfortunately the proper fix in scons is all but simple, I&apos;m attaching a workaround in ebuild that solves the problem.
If someone has contact with upstream, maybe they can fix that in next releases, if it&apos;s not scons being stupid.
