The new version seems to work fine on x86 and amd64. (The patch is for a small change to the distribution filename). As the previous versions of dvd-slideshow do not work with the current stable version of mjpegtools (media-video/mjpegtools-1.8.0-r1), I suggest we ether jump strait to this new version, or we add a DEPEND="media-video/mjpegtools-1.6*" to the exisiting builds (or both).
