<thetext>The dvd-slideshow-0.7.1 already has media-sound/sox in it's DEPEND. However, as the new version still has unstable keywords it is probably worth fixing this for the currently stable version.</thetext>

Version bump and DEPEND update

dvd-slideshow-0.7.2 has been released, this includes a major bug fix for >media-video/mjpegtools-1.6*. The new version seems to work fine on x86 and amd64. (The patch is for a small change to the distribution filename).

As the previous versions of dvd-slideshow do not work with the current stable version of mjpegtools (media-video/mjpegtools-1.8.0-r1), I suggest we ether jump strait to this new version, or we add a DEPEND="media-video/mjpegtools-1.6*" to the exisiting builds (or both).

(I am new to ebuilds, can anyone explain why this uses DEPEND insted of RDEPEND as the is no build step.)</thetext>

            <thetext>Video herd: ping.

I did some preliminary testing of the package and it seems to halt at mpeg2enc finishing on the 0.7.1 version. If we should test 0.7.2 and or add 0.7.3 please advise.</thetext>

<thetext>I get the mpeg2enc problem with version 0.7.2 on two systems (one ~x86, one x86), and on the x86 system with 0.7.1 I get a different problem, the output ends with:

With 0.7.3, I get the same problem as with 0.7.2 (not sure if it's an mjpegtools problem or a dvd-slideshow problem, but either way, it doesn't look like this is ready to be marked stable)</thetext>
