I added mpd to my default runlevel so it would automatically start on boot. Since the music directory is the nfs directory and mpd is started before nfsmount mpd fails with the error message "problem stat'ing "/mnt/nfs/audio". To work around this we should add the lines use nfsmount use netmount to the depend function. I didn't initially see that because I searched for nfs and mpd. I also use netmount and so this would fix my problem but maybe other users start nfsmount instead od netmount so I think use nfsmount should still be included. ticho@gentoo.org 2005-10-24 06:44:21 0000 Good idea, thanks Daniel. Fixed in CVS for both mpd and mpd-svn packages. No revision bump was made, so users will have to remerge mpd (or mpd-svn) in order to get the updated initscript.
