<thetext>Hi,

appromimatly twice a week I am stopping kdm with /etc/init.d/xdm stop

But when tried today, it does not work anymore.

It shows 'Stopping kdm' and its 'ok' but it happens nothing.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.have kdm start in a normal boot
2. try to stop kdm with /etc/init.d/xdm stop
3.

Actual Results:
kdm+X are running happily

Expected Results:
kdm+X should not be running

1.12.0_pre7.

Only kdm/X is not interessted what I am doing, except start ... </thetext>
