<thetext>1. there is new version of xpdf - 3.01. When I removed all the old patches from
3.00-r10 ebuild it seems to work in overlay.
2. On the homesite of xpdf there is new version of t1lib - 5.1.0 (it's also on
it own homesite) old ebuild is nearly correct - only thing that needs update is
the patch, which is much shorter now.
3. The thing that bothers me most - why is xpdf ebuild done in a way that
removes funcionality ? I mean all those linguas flags if not set make viewing
some pdfs impossible, and frankly besides cjk all other are very small, there
are much bigger PATCHES in portage tree, also those flags are not reported by
`emerge -pv` only way to learn about them is to read ebuild.
4. CJK - CMaps: just an idea - as ghostscript installs those when cjk flag is
set and xpdf installs duplicates of those, mainly older or same versions except
for 2 newer versions (ETenms-B5-H, ETenms-B5-V) and 4 that are actually missing
from ghostscript package (UniGB-UTF16-H, UniGB-UTF16-V,UniJIS-UTF16-H,
UniJIS-UTF16-V) maybe it would be a good idea to move them to a separate
package, and make xpdf and ghostscript depend on it when cjk is set.

new patch for t1lib

It's an edit of the old patch. It works for me, meaning no sandbox violation.</thetext>
