            <thetext>md5deep has had a few new releases (1.6, 1.7, and 1.8). A straight bump from 1.5-r1 to 1.8 works fine on 
ppc-macos, and I doubt any arches have problems. &gt;=1.7 fixes building on ppc-macos, and of course 
there have been other changes in the past year.</thetext>

            <thetext>it looks that a plain version bump was not enough. Some files are missing. I  
check it and perhaps fix it immediately. 
 
&apos;tigerdeep&apos; and &apos;whirlpooldeep&apos; are new and should be installed also. ;)
