Lyx.org has released another maintance release of lyx.
Sorry, due to the patches in the 1.3.5-r2 ebuild there was no success reuse of it.

lyx-1.3.6.ebuild hacked from 1.3.5-r2 commenting out patches

I have built lyx-1.3.6 with this modified ebuild, and the application compiles,
installs and runs correctly in x86.

I have worked with lyx multipart documents, with pdf, ps and gif images, and
with beamer slides so far. 

Are the patches commented really needed in this new version?

Thanks for the bug report. Some of the patches are still needed,
so I revised them into single patch and added it to CVS.
