This should be fixed in CVS. Verify that you get the modified ebuild the next
time you run "emerge sync" (check out the ChangeLogs). If you have the modified
ebuild and the problem persists, re-open this bug and attach the full output
from the emerge process.

Sorry to report it's still not working (next day....)  Did a new emerge sync but
I don't know which changelog to look at...

This is a different problem indeed. Thanks for bringing it up.

Please emerge pkgconfig-0.17.2 or higher version and try emerging
libgnome/gnome-session again. Funny the kind of things that come up when setting
a stable value in ACCEPT_KEYWORDS and emerging ~arch packages.

Well, well!  That seems to have done it!

Thanks!  Feel free to close the bug, although maybe a dependency needs to be
added to those packages so others don't have the same problem...
