Description Andrew V. Plekhanoff 2005-06-28 01:49:38 UTC
Genkernel can`t create supplementary tools for initramfs image and nice splash
too. It happens with binutils 2.16.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge genkernel
2. emerge gentoo-sources
3. genkernel all

Actual Results:
Kernel compile cleanly, but genkernel can't produce initramfs image.

Expected Results:
See man genkernel.

Andrew, can you please join us in #gentoo-releng if you're going to post bugs on
the pre-release versions of genkernel. We are actively working on this and all
of the bugs you're posting are generally known to us before you post the bug
report. It would reduce duplication quite a bit if you did.
