Comment 2 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-18 05:07:06 UTC
What´s wrong here? This also seems to cause Bug 95840.
Comment 3 Christian Andreetta (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-20 02:52:20 UTC
fake write to /etc/krb5.conf allowed in sanbox configuration (see bug 95840)
Comment 4 Matteo Spreafico 2005-06-20 03:55:47 UTC
I reopen this bug, please close it when you add 'addpredict /etc/krb5.conf' to
samba ebuilds (as you wrote in bug 95840).

Az, need your thoughts on this please
Comment 9 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-04 14:44:55 UTC
Guess the question is what runs that need to do that? Can anybody do:

  # strace -f -o emerge-samba.log emerge samba

??
Comment 10 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-05 00:51:50 UTC
Oh, and attach emerge-samba.log ...
Comment 11 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-05 07:39:33 UTC
Ok, my fault .. access() wrapper I added to sandbox that does a violation when
it should not. Will do a new sandbox in a bit.
Comment 12 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-05 08:20:22 UTC
Please try with sandbox-1.2.12.
Comment 13 Nicolas Schlumberger 2005-08-06 03:45:29 UTC
I ran into the same problem; Upgraded sandbox to 1.2.12, and samba compiled fine

I ran into exactly the same problem. Is the installation of sandbox-1.2.12 the
suggested fix or just a temporary workaround ?

Confirm, it works.

Now it works.
I suggest closing this bug.

No, it's in ~arch

sandbox-1.2.12 fixes that, marking as a dupe of Bug 101433. Thanks for reporting
back.

Uhm ...

# etcat -v sandbox

That would be hardmasked, wouldn't it?

We commonly refer to it as "keyword masked".
