Description Andrey Kislyuk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-09 08:54:57 UTC
When resuming from sleep on some laptops (e.g. Thinkpad T4x series), the AT
keyboard interface is not properly reset and is left in an unusable state.
Discussion here:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/beta/show_bug.cgi?id=142329

Linus has merged this for 2.6.12:

http://www.kernel.org/git/gitweb.cgi?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=2673c836ab9a44b02d45ae5c1c44c03df138dba4

Please backport to 2.6.11 in the Gentoo patchset. Thanks!

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
Suspend or hibernate laptop.
Actual Results:
About 10% of the time, the keyboard is unusable and starts inputting garbage.
