The kaudiocreator package requires kdemultimedia to perform properly. Without it, it cannot rip audio CDs, but gives an error message (quoted below). In other words, kdemultimedia-kioslaves should be added as a dependency to kaudiocreator. A simple workaround is emerging kdemultimedia-kioslaves. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unmerge kdemultimedia-kioslaves 2. Emerge kaudiocreator 3. Try to rip an audio CD Actual Results: Every track failed to rip with the message "Could not start process Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Unknown protocol 'audiocd'." Expected Results: The track should have at least started copying. Both packages were version 3.4.1, the latest at the time of this writing.
Fixed now. Thanks.
