Rivendell aims to be a complete radio broadcast automation solution, with the
facilities for the acquisition, management, scheduling and playout of audio
content. As a robust, functionally complete digital audio system for broadcast
radio applications, Rivendell uses industry standard components like the
GNU/Linux Operating System, the AudioScience HPI Driver Architecture and the
MySQL Database Engine. Rivendell is being developed under the GNU Public
License.

No activity in one year. If you are still interested in this, attach an ebuild.
There are over 2000 bugs filed for new ebuilds, if you want something in
portage, at least attempt an ebuild.

I removed a section that disabled support for third party hardware drivers
because configure will disable or enable support if it detects their presence.

------- Comment #10 From Emery Hemingway 2009-01-13 02:18:26 0000 -------
There is a newer and better ebuild in the sunrise overlay. There are however
still issues with transcoding due to a dependency of an out of tree build of
sox, but a fix should be forthcoming.

------- Comment #11 From Emery Hemingway 2009-01-17 14:02:24 0000 -------
Sox compatibility problems fixed, but audio might be a little wonky until
upstream makes some changes.

------- Comment #12 From Emery Hemingway 2009-12-30 01:41:44 0000 -------
This is now being actively maintained in the proaudio overlay. I put it there
and I honestly think its too specialized for the main tree. So if someone could
close this that would be cool.
