Simple http daemon servers static content and is able to execute CGI scripts. It runs in either standalone or xinetd mode. The binary is about 30kb.

For future reference, there's not much point in attaching the metadata.xml and ChangeLog. They'll get generated automatically on this end. Users don't generally end up in metadata.xml. If, in the future, you are constantly submitting bugs/fixes for this package, however, then I'll add your name to the metadata.xml, as well as mine, with a note that I am maintaing this package on your behalf. One step at a time though :)
shttpd-1.21 is in cvs. The ebuild has been modified quite a bit. I've updated the init/conf scripts to be a little more user-friendly. Thanks very much for the submissions.
