NTP needs the attached patch to compile clean on G/FreeBSD because EAI_NODATA isn't defined on FreeBSD kernel (it's said deprecated).

Also, the libcap dependency must be set in such a way:

linux_kernel? ( !nodroproot( sys-libs/libcap ) )

libcap is linux-specific and is needed and used only on Linux kernel.

Thanks to vapier I committed that patch after reporting it upstream. I set the 
URL to the upstream bug.
