Now as some other Linux distributions like Debian, Ubuntu and Knoppix are about
to include the CAcert root cert (or already did it) I wonder why I hear nothing
about Gentoo and CAcert ...

You find a lot of discussion about that topic by looking at the following links.
I for myself would appreciate the inclusion into Firefox, KDE/Konqueror/Kmail,
Opera, and so on - and I'm sure many other people would like it as well.

added app-misc/ca-certificates-20050518 which just grabs the deb source and
unpacks it
