Description:   Opened: 2005-05-08 23:23 0000
The reason is, that together with the libata-dev patch
(http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/jgarzik/libata/2.6.11-libata-dev1.patch.bz2),
this version of hddtemp can display the temperature of sata drives. Thus, one
can monitor sata-hd-temps with gkrellm, like I do now :-).

I successfully tested this! Simply copying the 0.3-beta12 to 0.3-beta13 will
do, the ebuild applies fine then (on my amd64).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

*** Bug 96627 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***

------- Comment #2 From R!tman 2005-06-20 11:54:14 0000 -------
Bug 96627 is not a duplicate. HERE, an ebuild is requested, in 96627 a patch is
requested to be applied to gentoo-sources.
The ebuild does not at all depend on the patch. hddtemp works without it on
normal ide harddiscs.

------- Comment #3 From Michal Januszewski 2005-07-13 09:32:02 0000 -------
Ebuild added to CVS.
