Hi! Please find attached mod_ruby-0.9.7.ebuild.tgz containing mod_ruby-0.9.7.ebuild mod_ruby embeds the Ruby interpreter into the Apache web server, allowing Ruby CGI scripts to be executed natively. These scripts will start up much faster than without mod_ruby. It is available at the mod_ruby official site <URL:http://www.modruby.net/>. Kind regards, Tuurlijk!
Created attachment 274 [details] ebuild file for mod_ruby-0.9.7
What is the difference between this one an eruby ?
Added. Please let all attachments in bugzilla be text-only, not binaries. Also, look over the changes I did in case you want to submit further ebuilds in the future (Copyright should include current year, the $Header$ should be there, configuration should go in pkg_config, and you should't use "try", it is deprecated); blame us for any missing documentation on the subject, and feel free to submit bug reports for it. the skel.ebuild in /usr/portage should show you what the style is currently.
I think this bug should be reopen. I can't install mod_ruby using emerge, the ebuild should be in the standard portage tree. 0.9.7 is also an old version.
