Description Jesse Becker 2005-05-03 08:26:10 UTC
New ebuild for mrxvt-0.4.1. This version should include a fix for bug 85244 as well. Additionally, it increases the default scrollback buffer (from 100 to 500 lines), and maximum number of terminal entries (from 10 to 20).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
N/A

Thanks for the report. I added mrxvt-0.4.1.ebuild, but without scrollbak buffer
and terminal entries modification (if you only changed part of the ebuild,
diff style attachment is preferred). Why did you increase these numbers
from default value?
Comment 3 Jesse Becker 2005-05-03 11:31:22 UTC
Those are the settings I used when I built it locally--I should have stripped them out before submitting the ebuild (especially since you can use EXTRA_ECONF for local changes). No worries, and thanks for accepting the ebuild.

Alright. Certainly you can use EXTRA_ECONF to do that, but sometimes
it's not handy -- you have to set it globally or remember to set it
everytime you emerge the package. If many users have benefits from
increasing default scrollback buffer and terminal entries I'm open to
add them. In this case, you can change scrollback buffer by Xresources
or command line option, but you cannot change maximum number of
terminal entries after installation. So if there is a need for increasing
maximum number of terminal entries, we might well add it to the ebuild.
