I wanted to emerge wings3d and the first dependency is erlang. Currently in portage 10.2.0 is the only one that is the only version masked ~amd64. Compilation takes a long time and doesn't spit any errors (aparently), but when the files are being copied i get the following error: make -w RELEASE_PATH=/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang release_spec make[4]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/work/otp_src_R10B_2004-10-05/lib/hipe/util' /bin/install -c -d /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/lib/hipe-2.1.0/ebin /bin/install -c -m 644 ../ebin/hipe_timing.beam ../ebin/hipe_vectors.beam /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/lib/hipe-2.1.0/ebin make[4]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/work/otp_src_R10B_2004-10-05/lib/hipe/util' make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/work/otp_src_R10B_2004-10-05/lib/hipe/util' make[3]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/work/otp_src_R10B_2004-10-05/lib/hipe/tools' make -w RELEASE_PATH=/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang release_spec make[4]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/work/otp_src_R10B_2004-10-05/lib/hipe/tools' /bin/install -c -d /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/lib/hipe-2.1.0/ebin /bin/install -c -m 644 ../ebin/hipe_tool.beam ../ebin/hipe_profile.beam ../ebin/hipe_ceach.beam ../ebin/hipe_jit.beam /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/lib/hipe-2.1.0/ebin make[4]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/work/otp_src_R10B_2004-10-05/lib/hipe/tools' make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/work/otp_src_R10B_2004-10-05/lib/hipe/tools' === Leaving application hipe make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/work/otp_src_R10B_2004-10-05/lib/hipe' make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/work/otp_src_R10B_2004-10-05/lib' cd /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang && ./Install -minimal /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang Building SASL boot script ... rm -f /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/erl /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/erlc \ /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/ecc /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/elink /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/ear /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/escript ln -s /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/bin/erl /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/erl ln -s /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/bin/erlc /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/erlc ln -s /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/bin/ecc /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/ecc ln -s /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/bin/elink /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/elink ln -s /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/bin/ear /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/ear ln -s /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/lib64/erlang/bin/escript /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image//usr/bin/escript grep: /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image///usr/lib/erlang/erts-*: No such file or directory ACCESS DENIED rename: /usr/lib/erlang/erts-5.4/sedEfDtLO rm: cannot remove `/var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image///usr/lib/erlang/Install': No such file or directory man: prepallstrip: strip: strip --strip-unneeded strip: strip --strip-unneeded usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/beam.shared usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/child_setup.shared usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/beam usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/child_setup usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/inet_gethost usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/heart usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/erlexec usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/erlc usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/run_erl usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/to_erl usr/lib64/erlang/erts-5.4/bin/epmd usr/lib64/erlang/lib/erl_interface-3.5/bin/erl_call usr/lib64/erlang/lib/asn1-1.4.4.3/priv/lib/asn1_erl_drv.so usr/lib64/erlang/lib/crypto-1.2.1/priv/lib/crypto_drv.so usr/lib64/erlang/lib/orber-3.5.3/priv/bin/obj_init_port usr/lib64/erlang/lib/os_mon-1.7/priv/bin/memsup usr/lib64/erlang/lib/ssl-3.0.4/priv/bin/ssl_esock usr/lib64/erlang/lib/runtime_tools-1.5/priv/lib/trace_ip_drv.so usr/lib64/erlang/lib/runtime_tools-1.5/priv/lib/trace_file_drv.so usr/lib64/erlang/lib/megaco-2.1.5/priv/lib/megaco_flex_scanner_drv.so usr/lib64/erlang/bin/erlc usr/lib64/erlang/bin/run_erl usr/lib64/erlang/bin/to_erl >>> Completed installing erlang-10.2.0 into /var/tmp/portage/erlang-10.2.0/image/ --------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY --------------------------- LOG FILE = "/tmp/sandbox-dev-lang_-_erlang-10.2.0-19558.log" rename: /usr/lib/erlang/erts-5.4/sedEfDtLO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge erlang 2. 3. Should now be fixed in cvs, reopen if you still have problems.
Worked, thank you.
