x11-libs/fltk's LICENSE reads "FLTK GPL-2" where as the source distribution specifies FLTK and LGPL-2. Technically not a big problem, well not as much as if it had been the other way around(and you blindly trusted the ebuild), which is why I'm marking it as cosmetic. The attached patch changes this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

While somebody is touching the ebuild perhaps they can remove the installation of the nasty cat docs too? Equally trivial patch attached.

New version is in bugzilla - post there. See bug 72556
Taking comment #4 in to consideration, I'm personally not willing to mark this resolved this and add to bug #72556 for the license problem. The license is broken in portage /now/, and that bug appears to be completely stagnant.
fixed
For some reason both of the previously applied fixes[1][2] from this bug for fltk-1.1.4 failed to propogate to the 1.1.6 ebuild. (Hopefully it isn't policy to create a new bug for things like this, I can't really seem to find any examples either way) 1. http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/x11-libs/fltk/fltk-1.1.4.ebuild? r1=1.15&view=log 2. http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/x11-libs/fltk/fltk-1.1.4.ebuild? r1=1.16&view=log
fixed... as for policy, it really doesn't matter as long as the job is done :-)
(In reply to comment #8) > fixed... as for policy, it really doesn't matter as long as the job is done : -) Thanks. And I agree, but if policy does exist I don't want to willingly violate it.
