Description:   Opened: 2005-04-16 16:51 0000 
Attempting to emerge doom3-demo I find that even during non-peak hours the ID
Software site is extremely slow (4KB/s -> 15KB/s) to download from.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge doom3-demo
2. Wait an hour or more.
Actual Results:  
Slow (4KB/s -> 15KB/s) download rates, invalid anonymous logins due to maximum 
connection limits, etc. 

Expected Results:  
If a connection to the primary mirror can not be established, another mirror 
should be selected. 

After a quick search of the 'net, I discovered two additional mirros:

http://www.hup.hu/~trey/DOOM3/doom3-linux-1.1.1286-demo.x86.run 

Though the second is likely a personal site and should not be used in 
production, it was substantially faster than the first.

xs4all.nl is already used as a mirror

3dgamers doesnt allow external linkage

Ehh... actually we can link to them, and have 3dgamers already setup in
thirdpartymirrors...

Under normal circumstances, I would have probably closed this myself without
doing anything, but it's only a 1-line fix to add all the 3dgamers mirrors into
the rotation.
