The current stable amd64 ebuild for openldap (net-nds/openldap-2.1.26) segfaults when replication is enabled.  I have tested 2.1.30 by setting net-nds/openldap ~amd64 in /etc/portage/package.keywords and it works fine.

Due to company standards I have run extensive testing of openldap on amd64 and 2.1.30-r4 is the most stable ebuild I was able to test currently, although I have not tested 2.2.x at all.

Please move 2.1.30-r4 to stable and mark < 2.1.30 ~amd64 as they are unstable for replicated environments.

amd64: please test and mark stable 2.1.30-r4.
this was a known upstream bug.
