------- Comment #1 From Kim Pedersen 2005-04-13 23:17:10 0000 -------
I can also confirm a success on my x86 system.

------- Comment #2 From Stefan Schweizer 2005-04-14 06:38:08 0000 -------
We usually dont mark ebuilds with open bugs stable.
You could have a look at and help to resolve bug 87679 to speed the process of stabilizing.

------- Comment #3 From Kamil Gornik 2005-04-30 08:04:35 0000 -------
but still Acrobar Reader 7.0 works fine with mozilla-1.7.7 (didn't work with
1.7.6) so I think there was problem with mozilla/firefox rather that acroread
itself. And today we've got some good news in
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87679 so I hope the time acroread-7.0 is
made stable is so close...

------- Comment #4 From Stefan Schweizer 2005-05-14 13:00:26 0000 -------
Can you please test 7.0.0.2?

------- Comment #5 From Kamil Gornik 2005-05-14 13:43:53 0000 -------
I've just typed
emerge -D mozilla acroread
(mozilla upgrade to 1.7.8) so in few hours I'm going to report it.

------- Comment #6 From Kamil Gornik 2005-05-14 22:58:26 0000 -------
no problem witm mozilla-1.7.8 plugin and stand-alone work
pdfs are opening quite nice
seems stable

------- Comment #7 From Stefan Schweizer 2005-05-17 11:44:10 0000 -------
Sorry, I need to get the bugs resolved, first. Everyone is welcome to help me
with testing and fixing :)

------- Comment #8 From Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) 2005-06-07 02:35:02 0000 -------
it will be marked stable according to the gentoo rules: no bugs for 30 days

------- Comment #9 From Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) 2005-06-07 02:37:39 0000 -------
sorry, didn't see that this one is a tracker bug

------- Comment #10 From Nikhil Sethi 2005-06-28 18:32:04 0000 -------
(In reply to comment #4)
> Can you please test 7.0.0.2?

to confirm, 7.0.0.2-r2 works on my x86 system without any problems

------- Comment #11 From Stefan Schweizer 2005-06-28 22:04:11 0000 -------
acroread-7.0.0.2-r2.ebuild has been marked x86 stable, thanks for all your
testing.
Amd64: Can you please also mark it stable?

------- Comment #12 From Craig Bradney 2005-06-29 00:47:25 0000 -------
FWIW, there are some *major major* colour and transparency bugs in Acro 7. TBH,
I think Acro 5 and 7 should be slotted so we can have both installed. This v7
should certainly *stay* stable though. I have submitted #97371 for this.

------- Comment #13 From Simon Stelling (RETIRED) 2005-06-29 03:46:08 0000 -------
amd64 stable too

------- Comment #14 From Steve Yin 2005-06-29 04:55:12 0000 -------
so what's about acroread-asianfonts-7.0.20020815, I think it's stable too.
