It doesn't appear to be a sandboxing problem, manual "make check" gives the same error.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -u e2fsprogs
2.
3.

Comment 1 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-04-11 18:43:29 UTC
do you not have e2fsprogs installed yet ?
Comment 2 Philippe Van Deyck 2005-04-12 01:32:59 UTC
I currently have sys-fs/e2fsprogs-1.36-r1 installed.
Comment 3 piotr 2005-04-23 13:01:47 UTC
I have it too - gentoo wants to update e2fsprogs when i use masked ebuilds. e2fsprogs crashes when configuring
Comment 4 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-04-26 20:36:24 UTC
ok, found the problem and it's now fixed in 1.37
