Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

2. Enter the correct password.
Actual Results:
A "password incorrect" dialog appears.

Expected Results:
The private records should have been shown.

------- Comment #1 From Alastair Tse (RETIRED) 2005-07-08 03:59:14 0000 -------
can you try the new version of jpilot-0.99.8_pre9?

thanks.

------- Comment #2 From Jason McGuiness 2005-07-16 04:31:25 0000 -------
Unfortunately not. I successfully emerged 0.99.8_pre9 and it has the same bug.

------- Comment #3 From Wulf Krueger (RETIRED) 2007-09-17 05:45:12 0000 -------
Please test with 0.99.9 and let us know if it works now. Re-open this bug if it
doesn't.

I tried trhis version and unfortunately it appears to have the same bug. Very
irritating.

I've done some research now and this looks like http://bugs.jpilot.org/1856
(which is actually a bug in pilot-link).

You now have two options:
1. I'm going to attach a patch for pilot-link-0.12.3 (should apply to 0.12.2,
too) now. Apply it to pilot-link (add an appropriate epatch to the ebuild) and
test jpilot again.
2. Wait till I get around to add the patch to pilot-link-0.12.3 (might take a
week or so due to my annual aging ;) immediately followed by Christmas) and
test again.

------- Comment #6 From Wulf Krueger (RETIRED) 2007-12-19 23:54:20 0000 -------
Created an attachment (id=138931) [details]
pilot-link-0.12.3-int_types.patch

The promised patch for pilot-link.

------- Comment #7 From Wulf Krueger (RETIRED) 2007-12-20 23:10:32 0000 -------
I've just committed the patch which should indeed fix this bug. Please simply
re-emerge both pilot-link-0.12.3 and jpilot, test again and let me know about
the result.

------- Comment #8 From Wulf Krueger (RETIRED) 2008-02-29 17:19:52 0000 -------
The fix was kindly confirmed to work by Jeff Silver.
