Bugzilla Bug 87554

dev-libs/newt-0.50.35 has a severe bug ( see bug #87453 ), after the last glibc
upgrade we can see apps linked with newt-0.50.35 randomly crashing with a
"glibc detected *** double free or corruption" error.

Arches, please test newt-0.51.6 and mark it stable.

mips team, please test this new ebuild.

Pay attention...none of the ebuilds have a mips keyword.  Are you asking us to
keyword it because it will be a required dep of something, or just because you
want us to?

I can't understand the first part ...as I can see there are 3314 ebuild with a
mips keyword.

newt is a generic library required by some programs like asterisk, partimage,
etc and I plan to start test them on some SBC mobo mips based (MIPS 4Kc).
