Description:   Opened: 2005-03-27 18:49 0000 
CHANGE: Read [libnss-mysql] and [client] sections in /etc/my.cnf;
        Removed these options from libnss-mysql.cfg: timeout, compress,
        initcmd

Please bump. ;-)

Created an attachment (id=57988) [edit]
trivial portage overlay files for libnss-mysql-1.4

took a couple of minutes, but here's a trivial portage overlay for libnss-mysql
...  set PORTDIR_OVERLAY=/usr/local/portage (or wherever) in /etc/make.conf and
untar this into a /usr/local/portage/sys-libs/libnss-mysql directory.
