Description Scott Paul Robertson 2005-03-25 21:07:27 UTC
The development branch provides the new support for System.Windows.Forms (SWF) classes and applications. SWF is very far along in mono now (about 95% complete), and to be able to run any SWF applications in mono you need libgdiplus. I think libgdiplus should be added as a dependency for mono, at least in the development branch, or if failing that, a use flag. That way SWF apps will work "out of the box" with gentoo's install of mono.

Yeah, i'll consider adding a PDEPEND on libgdiplus, not really sure yet if i want to put it behind a USE flag or not... I think probably not.

Ok, i've added an RDEPEND on libgdiplus for all the mono-1.1.x ebuilds. Marking FIXED, thanks for the report.
