Description Paul Thompson 2002-09-29 22:04:10 UTC
The ebuild is installing fetchmail.1 and fetchmailconf.1 under /usr/share/man/
(not under /usr/share/man/man1 -- and note they are not compressed)
This ebuild uses 'einstall'. By hand I did this:
make DESTDIR='/tmp/fetchmail' install

In the source tree, and it did the right thing, so I am wondering if 'einstall'
is doing something funny.

Fernand Albarracin <fernand8@wanadoo.fr> noted this on the gentoo-dev
list, and also mentions a similar problem with dev-libs/expat.

expat does not have this problem for me (and also does not use einstall)
I am running an uptodate 1.2 profile.
